Previz, short for previsualisation, is building your shots and sequences in 3D before you shoot them.
Inside one controlled sandbox, the director, DOP, producer and every HOD explore ideas, solve technical problems and lock a shared vision, using real cameras, real lenses and real world measurements. It started on the biggest VFX films. Today it is the smartest prep any production can do.

Every HOD, as often as you need
Approved shots become technical plans: camera positions, heights and lenses; crane, rig and track specs; lighting plots and set measurements. Digital doubles of your cameras, lights and stunt rigs keep the simulation accurate.

Previz data goes to set. Simulcam composites virtual backgrounds and effects into the live camera feed; for LED volumes we deliver techviz, VAD content and colour pipeline support for in camera VFX.

04The case for prep
Every question answered in prep is a question that doesn't cost you a shoot day. Keep scrolling and watch the same five problems disappear.
The crane arrives at dawn and doesn't clear the balcony. The whole unit waits while the grips improvise.
Measured in week two of prep. A shorter arm is booked, the shot survives, and so does the morning.
The director and DOP debate the 35 or the 50 on the day, while the light keeps moving.
Both lenses were tested on the exact frame in prep. The call was made over coffee.
